India’s largest logistics hub will soon be built in Dadri, Greater Noida. To achieve the 1 trillion-dollar economy goal, the Yogi government is investing Rs 7,064 crore in this Multi-Modal Logistics Hub (MMLH) project. This logistics hub will work like a dry port and will ensure rapid transportation of goods and raw materials. On completion of the project, along with the economic development of Greater Noida, new employment and business opportunities will be created in the entire NCR.

The multi-modal logistics hub will be spread over 823 acres, of which the main development will take place on 455 acres. 17.5 acres have been reserved for commercial and administrative facilities. At the same time, 350 acres have been reserved for rail yards and other projects. The multi-modal logistics hub will serve as a central hub for facilities like container handling, warehousing, cold storage, processing, de-stuffing, and value-added packing.

“It will offer seamless rail connectivity and feature essential amenities including rail platforms, customs clearance, cargo segregation, truck parking areas, and extensive green spaces,” an official spokesperson told The Times of India.
