Krystal Integrated Services is a listed facilities management company that has shown keen interest in hiring Agniveers after they have completed their short-term engagement with defence services. Now, as per Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Sanjay Dighe, “Companies like Krystal can become a good bridge between the existing ‘Agniveers’ and the corporate sector, which is looking for the right candidates to protect business premises with large investments.” He has offered Agniveers gainful employment in the private sector. There is a demand for such talent in the industry. He further assured that once hired, they would not be sitting idle for a week.

Another benefit for retired Agniveers is that they will be able to stay with their families and do not have to keep moving from one place to another. Krystal Integrated Services started as a security provider at office and residential complexes for more than two decades. It has currently employed 5,800 security personnel. As per Sanjay Dighe, this number could be higher because in a few cases, a facility manager can also double up as a security person.

Sanjay Dighe revealed that the company has hired a senior army officer who has a lot of experience in handling the Agniveers scheme during his stint with the Indian army. He further backed the initiative and said that in many cases, security guards working for the company earn way better than back-end executives for call centres.

He also shared that the company is aiming to boost its revenue growth by 30 per cent between the financial year 2025 to 2028. In the last three years, the percentage has been 23. It will now focus on using better technology in all of its processes and introduce new departments like waste and sewerage management.
