Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Reliance Industries Limited Chairman Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, the daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant and Shaila Merchant, are all set to tie the knot at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai on Friday.

A traditional red and gold card with details of the three-day function has been doing the rounds on social media, which gives details of the festivities. The main wedding ceremonies will start on July 12, with the auspicious Shubh Vivah or wedding function. The dress code for the event will be Indian traditional. July 13 will be the day of Shubh Aashirwad and the dress code is Indian formal. Sunday, July 14, will be the Mangal Utsav or the wedding reception and the dress code is Indian chic.

All the functions will be held at the Jio World Centre in BKC and the main wedding functions and ceremonies will be performed as per traditional Vedic Hindu rituals.

Anant and Radhika have been friends since childhood. It was in 2018 that people came to know about their relationship. A photo of them lost in each other’s eyes surfaced online and went viral which brought their bond into the spotlight.

Earlier this year, the couple had hosted business leaders from around the world, heads of state, as well as Hollywood and Bollywood stars in Jamnagar for pre-wedding festivities.

On Friday, the who’s who from the world of business, politics and arts will grace the wedding ceremony of Anant and Radhika.
